Moving From Death to Life

Author: Mellody Davis

This week I saw and heard some most disturbing things. This it was announce that children were hanging themselves to death. It makes me wonder what are we really teaching our children, and what type of example are we setting? What would make a child hang themselves weather in fun or sorrow. They should be told to let nothing steal the soul. Are we so bog down that we dont have time to explain Jesus following? Do the children even know the difference between life and death. Some say they do it for a dare, well they should know that the greatest dare is following Jesus Christ and keeping his commands. Then theres was the issues on letting kids decide if they wanted to continue taking treatment for cancer or die. Does a child really know what is best for themselves concerning cancer? Do the parents know how to fight a good fight of faith or do they just give up?

Well in any case, when it is all said and done can we look back and say that we as a people stood firm, and past the test. Did we really do everything we could to save lives? Which lives did we really save? We must come to the realization that devil comes at us with every kind of darkness, and we must be ready to fight him off. Most importantly we must teach our children and grandchildren the way of life threw Jesus Christ. The word of God is so true and so full of understanding about this world, would we want our children to miss out of what is the best.

When you read your Bible youll find out that God will punish us for not following his ways, to the third and fourth generations. Do we really want our children to suffer such things? Or do we want our children to flourish in great prosperity and blessing of Jesus Christ? We must not give the devil a foothole in our children life, this is why it is so important that they know about Jesus Christ. If science was so sure of itself, why wont they let Christ be taught in school? Nothing angers me more than to tell me that I was develop from an animal of any kind in any way. My being, thoughts are not of such things, they are much higher, I am not a savage, but the image of the true living God. My being, have a purpose for this life.

Let us not forget where we come from, how we were form and where our life truly exist, in the heaven above. He gives us the breath of life, the fullness of our being and our purpose for living. Let nothing in all creation, take the life of you and yours. Well some may ask how can one do this. The first start is reading and understanding your Bible. Most of all having trust, faith, love and believing in the word of God.

Your Sister in Christ, Mellody Davis
